Inger Iversen is the author of three novels, including the YA novel "Stranger in the House" (Penguin), which was nominated for the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize, and has been translated into eighteen languages. She has written four plays, including "The Dark Room" (Common Ground Opera Theatre), which won the 1999 David Ossman Award for Outstanding Play; "Under the Bridge", which was produced by the Old Vic Tunnels; and "Hollow", which won her an Olivier Award nomination. Her latest play, "Sally is Gone", premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in London in May 2018. She has also worked for The New York Times Magazine and Harper's Bazaar. Iversen is a graduate of Wellesley College and Harvard Law School. She lives in London with her husband, Chris Cutler, and their two sons.
